A member of Dunfermline Carnegie club since June 2003. I was President in 2006 / 2007 and Group Study Exchange Team Leader in 2008 where the team went to Western Australia.

Group Study Exchange
Group Study Exchange is an annual exchange between 2 Rotary Districts for young business and professionals, aged between 25 and 40; they are accompanied by a Rotarian Team Leader.
The Group Study Exchange program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional people. The programme is designed to develop professional and leadership skills so that the team members can address the needs of their communities and an increasingly global workplace.
The programme includes vocational visits, providing opportunities to observe vocations as practiced in another country; cultural experiences, promoting an appreciation of cultural diversity worldwide; and fellowship opportunities, considering each other’s problems, aspirations and community concerns along with fostering lasting friendships and international understanding.
